About Me
Hello! I’m Lori Karnuta
For the past twenty years, I have served as a school counselor supporting students and families from diverse backgrounds. While in this role, I developed a passion for working with parents. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working alongside hundreds of parents as they navigate the challenges and joys of raising children. My own parenting journey has allowed me to reflect on what kind of relationship I want to build with my children.
I hope to share with my clients a way of shifting our parenting perspective that creates opportunities for connecting with our kids, even when it feels clunky and hard.
I am also the mom of three daughters! Being a parent is one of the greatest joys of my life. I love connecting with other parents and watching parents grow in their skills for supporting their children.
I hold a bachelors degree in psychology from Indiana University and a masters degree in school counseling from Purdue University. I am a certified parenting coach through the Jai Institute for Parenting. In addition, I have received training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACES). I am an accredited Triple P Positive Parenting Program Provider.
